# LifeLink Chatbots Go Live at 28 Banner Emergency Departments

The Emergency Department is a key, high volume, high value "front door" to most hospitals. It's also a major source of patient frustration and bad reviews. Banner Health recognized the opportunity to improve the patient experience across their network of emergency rooms and deployed mobile chatbots to help keep patients informed during their visits.

Powered by LifeLink technology, the bots interact with patients on their mobile phones in ways similar to the way people text with friends and family.
