10,000 Baby Boomers retire every day. There are over 70 million adults in the baby boom generation who are all aging and shifting into the Medicare system. The financial pressure is going to force the government and providers to think differently — much differently.
Fortunately, this generation is also the first "technically savvy" generation. They grew up with computers, mobile phones and other technology. They don't fear innovation. They embrace it.
The question for healthcare (and Medicare) is not one of potential. Is healthcare ready?
